News - canada.com network Oops. It appears that six people are being investigated for possible insider trading at graphics chip manufacturer ATI. Apparently, OSC staff says the 6 people managed to squeak out more than $7.9 million in profit or avoided losses. C’mon… I mean, at the current prices of the Radeon cards (mine wasn’t cheap,) do they really need to cheat to make a lousy $8 million? Especially split 6 ways? One of the guys is the ATI Technologies chairman, K.Y. Ho (I know a few KY Ho’s myself… um…) and his wife, Betty Ho (is she, now.) I can’t imagine that these people actually needed the money. Anyway, interesting news… will have to see what comes of it.
